Steps to Follow When Someone Died inside a hospital/hospice or clinic:

Whether natural or unnatural, follow these steps:

1. The nurse on duty will contact the given family member and inform them of the death.
2. The close family will then have the opportunity to go to the institution and say farewell to their lovved one.
3. The family can contact their preferred funeral director in order to collect the loved ones remains from the institution.
4. The funeral director will obtain the Notification of death as well as the Death Certificate, signed by the doctor, from the institution.
5. The funeral director will contact you in order to proceed with the funeral arrangements.
6. Contact the family members and friends and inform them of the death of your loved one.
